BEAT THE NEW YEAR PRICE INCREASES

Nowadays our bathrooms are deemed to be one of the most important spaces in our homes – as an up to date, stylish room to relax and unwind in.

Bathroom budgets

When it comes to creating a new bathroom, costs can vary substantially depending on the quality of products we choose and the level of technology-driven appliances, all to suit our individual budget.

However, when planning a new bathroom its a good idea to work out a budget.  The one thing that is out of our control at this time of year is the annual price increase from the manufacturers.  Whilst this is something that is expected we very often forget to include it in our figures and the result is we either have to spend far more than we wanted, or we have to rethink the specification and maybe look for a compromise.

Live stock feeds

This year has been a difficult year for everyone, and many of our brands are struggling to meet demand.  UK Bathrooms have taken the decision to only advertise products on our website that we know we can deliver. We’re on live stock feeds for the majority of our bathroom brands now which means we can pass on as accurate lead times as possible to our customers. We’re already receiving notifications from suppliers of their intended price increases from January 2022 so we’re basically urging customers to buy now and beat the price increases.

On average price increases from January 2022 are from 3% all the way up to 8.5% from some of the leading names in bathrooms, including Villeroy & Boch, hansgrohe, Grohe, Geberit, Ideal Standard and VitrA.

Right time to buy

Now is definitely the right time to buy. A new bathroom of £8000 may cost up to an extra £680 based on the price increases we’ve been notified of to date. We’re still awaiting confirmation from brands such as Crosswater, whose products prove very popular with our customers. Their recently launched Artist range is sublime, on trend and stunning – the collection includes the gorgeous Circus Countertop Basin, which is available in a Brushed Brass finish. At £665.00 this basin is a real state of the art piece so definitely one to order now and beat those January prices!”
