Convention type lighting should never be used in a bathroom, so if you have found a brilliant stylish light that would look great in your bathroom, if it wasn’t intended for bathroom use it could prove fatal to household members if you have it fitted. There are now stringent regulations issued by Europe and these include: Fittings must be completely encased to avoid electrical shocks and shorting. They must be double insulated, with both the bulb and any metal pieces covered. All light switches are outside the bathroom or activated through a pull cord.
