Towel rails perform an important function in a bathroom or en-suite and are normally used in conjunction with existing radiators as a decorative heat source and come in a variety of shapes. Towel rails are available to suit any heating system or combinations of systems. Usually these are available to be installed in hot water heating systems or to be connected via the mains if an electrically heated one is preferred. It is now possible to have a dual system of heating using the central heating system in the winter and an electric element in the summer months when the heating is normally off. Apart from the obvious advantage of having a nice warm towel to use after showering or bathing, they also help to keep the bathroom tidy.
