Fitting a shower
If you do not have a shower it is well worth considering because showers enable us to rejuvenate our bodies quickly and easily without the need of a long soak. They use less water than baths, and as part of a complete bathroom suite give us an alternative method of washing. For persons having difficulty getting in and out of the bath, a shower can offer the ideal choice.
A shower uses both cold and hot water, which flow directly into the showerhead. These are mixed either manually or automatically to provide a spray of water at a comfortable temperature. Alternatively you can install an electric shower which is simpler to fit and uses just a cold water feed. If you are considering a complete bathroom makeover then fitting a state of the art shower with an enclosure is the way to go, but an over bath shower is cheap, simple and quick to fit.
